White Stuff
Waving the French Alps goodbye and leaving the ‘white stuff’ behind, founders George and Sean came back to England and opened the first ever White Stuff shop in Battersea, South London. Original hand drawn prints, finished with perfect detail with ‘happiness in every stitch’ to add a hint of fun to your outfit, pretty much sums up every seasons range we have stocked to date!
Crew Clothing Company
Crew Clothing was established 30 years ago by professional English skier Alastair Parker-Swift. When he wasn't competing, Alastair ran a wind-surfing shop in Salcombe, where he sold his first collection of men's Crew Clothing, which included their iconic '93 Rugby Shirt.
From 1993 to now, over 100 stores have popped up around the country, however Crew have never forgotten their roots: timeless British fashion with a coastal twist inspired by the beaches of Devon, the birthplace of this now iconic brand.
Seasalt
Sea Salt was first established in 1981, and they built their reputation by using natural materials such as organic cotton, bamboo and Jute. The brand’s designs reflect the maritime heritage of Cornwall, which inspires their designers each and every time they look out of their office window over Falmouth Bay. No wonder the brand has become a firm favourite with our customers!
Lily & Me
Quickly becoming a Milners favourite of customers and staff alike, Lily & Me was founded, and named after their daughter, by Amelia and Hari in 2007 . Since then, they have been creating high-quality women's clothing featuring contemporary designs and unique hand-painted prints. They have their own factory in Nepal where ensuring the work benefits their staff, as well as the wider community, is at the heart of what they do.
Brakeburn
Brakeburn is a British clothing and accessories brand founded in Poole, Dorset back in 2011. Their bespoke, hand-drawn prints and easy-living designs are heavily influenced by their coastal roots, making their collections ideal for both an outdoor lifestyle aesthetic and those looking for versatile, comfortable pieces.
Robell
Robell started as a family run business in the 1970’s, creating trousers and jeans for those who like comfort and style. Robell offers a fabulous fit for women of all shapes, sizes and heights. It's their perfect fit that keeps our customers returning for their products time and time again!
Culture
The Danish fashion company, DK Company, acquired the Culture brand in 2016 and they have been producing stylish and feminine clothing ever since. They are fantastic at combining the classic and the comfy, as well as producing earthy tones to contrast their statement colour pieces.
We use Culture to provide a lot of our 'Never Out Of Stock' staple pieces, but don't be surprised if you find a few jazzy jumpers or fancy blouses as well!
Powder
Powder was started in 2009 by award winning Design Director Lisa Beaumont, and has since gained a reputation for creating gorgeous and unique accessories for women. Scottish heritage and iconic Americana influences inspire every loveable design and nostalgic visual, and when displayed in our Milners shop the bold colours and fun, glamorous designs really stand out to our customers!
KuSan
Kurt and Sandra started KuSan 23 years ago after they fell in love with Nepal and the striking knitted clothing that the country's people wore. Now they have a solid company that produces beautifully bold and colourful woolly accessories!
KuSan are always focusing on maintaining a supportive and safe working environment for their employees, as well as ensuring their manufacturing processes are as environmentally responsible as possible and the materials they use are sourced sustainably.
Fable
Fable was formed when their founder discovered a printed bee scarf that was crafted in the 1940's from off-cut fabric used for the RAF pilots in WWII. The bee print symbolised flight and determination and thus sparked the idea that every print and each piece of jewellery could depict a tale, or symbolise positive aspects of the human spirit.
Fable go to many lengths to stay as environmentally friendly as they can, and their designs are inspired by the natural world that they try to protect.
Alice Rose Jewellery
Started by Alice in July 2020 whilst working here at Milners, Alice Rose Jewellery uses freshwater pearls, natural gemstones and sterling silver to create all her stunning pieces. The collections are inspired by a multitude of things, including (but not limited to!) her friends and family, the countryside, festivals and Harry Potter! Alice has since moved on from Milners to pastures new but we still love to support her small business.
The Yorkshire Candle Company
The Yorkshire Candle Company hand make all of their products here in Yorkshire, using responsibly sourced materials and taking inspiration from our beautiful countryside and landscapes. Starting their journey in 2014, their award winning fragrances are now sold worldwide. We stock a wide range of their divine candles and their lovely reed diffusers.
The Kandlers Table
After a personal journey with Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, Natalie founded The Kandlers Table - a family run company that handmakes soy wax candles, using ethically sourced ingredients and top quality essential oils, just an hour away from us in Harrogate.
Realising how important and mood-affecting certain scents are to different people, Natalie decided to make sure each of her candles had their own unique story behind them, which is what we believe makes her products so special!
Cosy Cottage Soap
Based in Malton, Yorkshire, Cosy Cottage have created an exquisite range of natural, effective skincare, beauty and lifestyle products. Each of their sustainably sourced ingredients can be found in nature and their unique, essential oil fragrance curations are crafted from steam distilled flowers and fruit.
After becoming concerned about harmful ingredients found in commercial skincare products, founder Clara began by producing natural soaps free from sulphates, paraben and palm oil.

We stock a gorgeous range of colourful, high quality birthday and greeting cards that have been designed and printed by local designer Laura Cloughton.
