Sustainability

In December of 2023, The team at Milners decided to look into making our shop a more ethically sustainable place to shop.

 

The brands we stock all have their sustainability reports and policies available to read on their websites also. It's important to us that we can try and reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible while still providing a great service and product to our customers.

The paper bags we use on the ground floor are 100% recyclable, as well as the smaller striped gift bags. Our silver bags are compostable, as well as the tissue paper we use.

Although the tissue paper we use is made from recycled materials, the fibres in tissue paper are too small to recycle again and so our tissue paper can only be composted. However, we are still looking into this to see if there is a better alternative!

When we ship out your orders, we make sure to recycle any packaging we can that we receive from our suppliers, which are all recyclable!

We are also trying to reduce the amount of paper we use by moving as much as we can online.
